Legislative Forum for Youth Youth-Focused Coalitions, Committees, Councils, and Commissions in Franklin County/North Quabbin Early in 2005 the Youth Services Roundtable began discussing the various coalitions, task forces, councils, etc. that exist in Franklin County and the North Quabbin. There was some concern that the members of these groups may not be aware of the purpose and activities (or even the existence) of each of the other groups, thus creating the potential for confusion and duplication of effort. |
Mission Statement The mission of the Youth Services Roundtable is to promote the healthy development of youth in the Greater Franklin County area through information sharing, collaboration, and impacting public policy. Structure Unincorporated association of youth services providers Membership Membership is open to youth serving agencies and individuals, both public and private, who support the mission of the Roundtable. Meetings Fourth Thursday of each month (12:30 – 2pm) Decision Making Decisions made by those attending a Youth Services Roundtable meeting would be broadcast through the YSR listserve and would be considered validated by the whole group if no significant objections are raised from anyone on the YSR listserve who has attended at least one meeting of the Roundtable in the prior 6 months.
